Abstract:

We used QCD factorization for the hadronic matrix elements to show that the existing data, in particular the branching ratios BR ( ?J/?K) and BR ( ?J/??), can be accounted for this approach. We analyzed the decay within the framework of QCD factorization. We have complete calculation of the relevant hard-scattering kernels for twist-2 and twist-3. We calculated this decays in a special scale ( ) and in two schemes for Wilson coefficients in NLO. We considered three functions for . The twist-3 contribution involves logarithmically divergent integral and also we considered canceling divergent. The obtained results are in agreement with available experimental data.

decays within the factorization approach in QCD

Using the factorization approach and considering the contributions of the currentcurrent, QCD penguin and electroweak penguin operators at the leading approximation, the decay amplitudes and decay widths of Bq → Dq(D q)P and Bq → Dq(D q )V transitions, where q = u, d, s and P and V are pseudoscalar and vector mesons, are calculated in terms of the transition form factors of the Bq → Dq and Bq →...

Decays in QCD Factorization

The hadronic decay B → J/ψK∗ is analyzed within the framework of QCD factorization. The spin amplitudes A0, A‖ and A⊥ in the transversity basis and their relative phases are studied using various different form-factor models for B −K∗ transition. The effective parameters a2 for helicity h = 0,+,− states receive different nonfactorizable contributions and hence they are helicity dependent, contr...

CP Violation in B Decays within QCD Factorization

We analyze the extraction of weak phases from CP violation in B → π+π− decays. By combining the information on mixing induced CP violation in B → π+π−, namely Sππ, with the precision observable sin 2β obtained from the “gold-plated”mode B → ψKS, we propose the determination of the unitarity triangle. We also discuss alternative ways to analyze Sππ which can be useful if new physics affects Bd–B̄...

cK) decays in QCD factorization

We study the exclusive decays of B meson into pseudoscalar charmonium states ηc and η ′ c within the QCD factorization approach and find that the nonfactorizable corrections to naive factorization are infrared safe at leading-twist order. The spectator interactions arising from the kaon twist-3 effects are formally power-suppressed but chirally and logarithmically enhanced. The theoretical deca...
